The UA System Manager is the portal to the UA Accounting System. It is divided into four major areas each described below:
On the left side of the system manager window is the main menu which lists the modules that you can access. When you click on a module name it expands to show you an intuitive Tree View that organizes the module for quick and easy access.
Clicking on any item in the tree view will display all of the modules and folders in the module menu directly to the right of the Main Menu.
The module menu shows you a list of all of functions you can perform with a given module. For example, if t yo select Accounts Receivable, all of the accounts receivable function will be displayed to you. Selecting the items in the module view opens the desired functionality. For example Invoicing.
User Defined Shortcut Menu
At the top of the system manager is the User defined shortcut ribbon. The shortcut ribbon shows the modules that you access on a regular basis. You can simple select an item on the shortcut ribbon and you will be taken directly to that function. The shortcut ribbon is used to switch between company databases to work with multiple companies from the same UA system manager.
To Do List
The To Do List in the bottom right panel of the system manager displays routings, schedules and messages. For example, you can send messages to yourself as reminders or to other users and visa versa; You can setup routings for document approval. If a document needs approval by a specific user the document will appear on approving users To Do List for processing. You can setup schedule events and they will appear on the date scheduled.
In addition there are user defined dashboards for quick views of import data.
