Overview of UA Benefits

Financial Management: The Financial Management app gives you a wide variety of tools to maintain accounts receivable, account payable and the general ledger.  Financial statements can be simple and complex.  The user defines the structure of each statement that enabled them to report based on their business rules. You can create multiple income statements by business unit, job and company.

Sales Orders & Quotes: The software gives you the ability to easily create quotes and sales orders for services and items sold. You can easily convert a quote into a sales order.  You can process payments on orders and invoices. You can setup recurring transactions that need to be recorded on user defined time periods such as daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. You can enter them once and then be reminded to process them when required.  You can easily create pick tickets, and ship items on a sales order. 

Banking: You can record cash transactions, prepare bank deposits and electronic payments, print checks, and reconcile accounts. Users can create checks without creating a payment voucher, receive money without creating a sales order, and reconcile accounts using their bank statements.

Purchase Orders: You create and track your purchase orders. You can also receive items on a purchase order into inventory.  The system automatically adds items received to a billing app that will create payment vouchers for the goods received.  You can pay vendors electronically or by check, convert bills to orders, manage payable's and bills, and prepare electronic payments.

Time and Expense Billing: You can bill for your activities based on customer, employee, job or activity.  You can have multiple billing rates for a customer, job, employee, or activity. You can record associated expenses.  You can create time sheets, expense reports, track work in progress.  You can easily, create an invoice from tracked time and expenses.

Human Resources: The UA Human Resource Management System (HRM) combines a number of systems and processes to ensure the easy management of a business’s employees and data. HRM combines a number of necessary HR functions, such as storing employee data, managing payrolls, recruitment processes, benefits administration, managing organizational hierarchy and keeping track of attendance records. It ensures everyday Human Resources processes are manageable and easy to access.

Material Management: The app enables you to create simple or complex material items.  You can build kits from individual items or other kits as well as keep track of item details. You can manage warehouses, inventory locations and counts.  You have multiple tools for performing full inventory management.  You can track inventory using bar coding.  Each item in inventory can have multiple variations (colors and sizes, etc.).  Cycle counting is available to easily count inventory a specified time periods.

Preventive Maintenance: The Preventive Maintenance Module assists you in the primary goal of maintenance, which is to avoid or mitigate the consequences of failure of equipment.  UA Business software uses planned and condition based maintenance plans which could prevent the failure before it actually occurs.  It is designed to preserve and restore equipment reliability by replacing worn components before they actually fail.  You can assign maintenance activities which could include partial or complete overhauls at specified periods, oil changes, lubrication and more.  In addition, workers can record equipment deterioration so they know to replace or repair worn parts before they cause system failure.  The goal of the module is to assist you preventive maintenance program that will prevent equipment failure before it occurs.

Manufacturing and Production: UA Manufacturing and Production module handles the entire production process, from inception to completion, including work centers and material routing's.  Cost Centers and Flow Control are all handled directly with this module and allow for tight control over each step of the production process.  Businesses are empowered with the ability to schedule resources, including machines and labor, and perhaps more importantly, the ability to expedite and de-expedite resources as rush orders and change orders arise.

Commission Management: Sales Commission programs tend to vary from one company or industry to another.  The UA Commission Management application gives you key features for calculating commissions to be paid to your sale team.  It is simple to use, cost effective and easy to implement.  The Commission application is integrated with accounts receivable and sales order management applications for easy flow of information necessary to calculate commissions.

Document Management: UA Document management software (DMS) will assist you in managing your files every step of the way; From storage, sharing, and collaboration to archiving inactive files and destroying out-of-date records.  It is a simple to use system that enables the user to attach electronic documents to any record within UA.  For example, you can attach employee certifications, drug tests, medical alerts, education documents, employee reviews to a specific employee record. Customer record can have contracts, email, tax exemption certificates and more attached to the customer. Material and equipment records can have shop drawings, pictures, handling instruction manuals, warranty information etc.  All are easily view able from within UA.
 
Project Management: UA has a complete project management tool that gives you total control over jobs. You can tack all of your projects by customer and jobs with a customer.  All Jobs are hierarchical; you can have sub jobs to a parent to any number of levels. Project management is totally integrated with Materials, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Purchasing, Service Orders, Sales Orders and Quotes.  You can track a job from the original quote through completion.  At the heart of the project management system is the Job Control Panel which gives you instance access to the current status of a job or group of jobs
 
Multi-currency: UA has a totally integrated multi-currency management system.  It gives you the ability to create statement in the desired currency and have the system track and convert the currency to currency of your financials.  The system automatically downs exchange rate at specified times. (hourly, daily, etc.).  Each financial document (invoice, purchase order etc.) can have its own currency and the system will keep track of the gains or losses from exchange.
